Each breed begins to lay their first eggs at a different ages:

  • White Leghorn-16-18 weeks

  • Crested Cream Legbar- 18-22 weeks

  • Gold Laced Wyandotte- 20-24 weeks

  • Sapphire Olive Egger- 20-24 weeks

  • French Black Copper Marans- 22-26 weeks

What do i need to bring to pick up my pullets?

A cardboard box, dog crate, or even coolers will work! The main thing is that there is around 1 cubic foot per bird (roughly the size of a milk crate) and the top is open for ventilation.
